This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge data integration and transformation projects within the insurance industry.
About the Role
As a Data Engineer, you will lead data integration, processing, and transformation efforts for Jubilee’s IFRS 17 implementation projects on Microsoft Azure. You’ll collaborate with actuarial, finance, and IT teams to ensure compliance with IFRS 17 reporting standards for Health and Life Insurance portfolios. Your role will involve designing scalable data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and driving technical innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable data pipelines on Azure for IFRS 17 reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver compliant datasets.
- Implement data validation, governance, and quality frameworks.
- Optimize database performance and workflows for long-term efficiency.
- Maintain detailed documentation for audit and regulatory compliance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Expertise in Azure Synapse Analytics, Python, SQL, and data modeling.
- Strong understanding of IFRS 17 and insurance data structures.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
