About the Role
As a Graphics Design Intern, you’ll support the design and pre-press team by preparing digital files and artwork for printing. You’ll gain experience in graphic design, file preparation, and print production processes while working closely with clients and the sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and revising digital artwork, including typesetting, illustrations, and branding.
- Support clients by providing graphic options based on printing requirements.
- Learn to impose digital files for efficient print and bindery production.
- Prepare and optimize client graphic files for proofing and production.
- Work on scheduling jobs and ensuring file consistency for quality standards.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Electronic Publishing, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of print design and pre-press production is an added advantage.
- Completed the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Microsoft Office.
